This is an excellent resort because of it's location, location, location! It is a 5 minute bike ride to Whistler Village and you do not have to be in great shape to make it. The only downside is that they are currently expanding and they took out the game room and are going to eventually put in another game room, gathering place and it is rumored, a pool. They are very strict on any food left outside ($100.00 fine). I am glad they are because we had a black bear in our campsite one night. As long as you follow the rules, you should not have any problems!
This was our third time at this campground. Overall, we really love it. There are paved roads through out the campground and nice, level sites to park. Campfire rings are at each site and tables as well. A word of caution, do not be fooled by their site map that is on their website. The sites are close and tight both sideways and backwards. If you have a back-in site in the middle of the park, you will most likely be opening your door to your neighbor's. If you want more privacy, request a exterior back-in site. Otherwise, it's a really nice place to camp that is within a bicycle's ride to both the beach and the town of Cannon Beach. The pool is indoor and very nice and clean. A large hot tub is also available to use. The family that runs this place is very capable and friendly. We will definitely be back for more fun!
We camped here for 1 night. We were supposed to stay for three, but our site was accidently given to somebody else and the site we were moved to was so unlevel that we chose to move. The campground overall is really nice, but rustic. A lot of the sites are on grassy, unlevel sites. About 1/2 are in the trees and the rest in open area sites. There is no TV reception and no internet access at your campsite. The family activities are great! Nice pool and hottub as well as a well-stocked small store. They provide daily hayrides in the summer and have a unique jumping pillow that you have to see to believe. Our daughter loved it!
This is a great campground for families! It is in a quiet, farmland setting. It is very close to the Canadian border. The owners are some of the nicest people we have met. They have a lot of activities during the summer! The sites were clean, level, and as described in our camping book. We will definitely be back with our friends.
